Orchard Park Community Primary School

Do you want to join a hardworking and happy team?  Do you want to make a difference?  Are you looking to support children in their development on a 1:1 and small group basis?  Do you want to support teaching staff in ensuring the best outcomes for pupils?  If so, we have the perfect post for you!

The role will be to support teaching and learning across the school.  This will include targeted support within a whole class setting, the delivery of interventions within and outside the classroom, as well as some 1:1 work.  Support will include lunchtime cover, assisting in the provision of high quality play and learning opportunities.

Our school was recently reaffirmed as 'good' by Ofsted (March 2017) and is a unique and special place to work.  We are a small school on the edge of Cambridge, which is at the heart of a new and growing community.  We are extremely proud of what our school has achieved since it opened 10 years ago and we are excited by what the next decade may bring.

We can provide you with:

  • An enthusiatic, talented and dedicated team to work alongside

  • A school where everyone is valued

  • Pupils that are hardworking and well behaved

  • An outstanding, striking learning environment

  • First rate ICT facilities

  • Opportunity to be part of something special

We would love you to see our caring and nurturing school in action and would therefore encourage you to visit us.

Please contact Lynsey in the School Office to organise a visit or speak to Ruth Bridges (Inclusion Leader) for further information.  Applications are invited from committed, enthusiastic and flexible applicants.
